Asus ROG Strix – World’s First 8-Core Gaming laptop launched


Asus is once again with its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand i.e which is focused primarily on PC gaming has Launched a New Gaming Laptop Asus ROG STRIX (GL702ZC) in India.

It is the World’s First Gaming laptop with 8 cores AMD Ryden Processor and is priced at RS 1,34,990 and pre-orders will start on 20 March on Flipkart.

Asus Strix has a 17.3 inch Full HD Anti-glare Display with 1920×1280 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, the display has a FreeScnc Technology which Asus claims can provide Ultra Smooth Visual Treat, has a backlit keyboard with anti-ghost technology i.e which ensures all the Keystrokes are registered correctly ‘Even when 30 keys are pressed simultaneously’.

This Gaming Machine has a 3.7GHz, 8-core AMD Ryden processor coupled with 4GB VRAM, 16GB of DDR4 Memory, expandable up to 32GB256GB SSD storage and also supports 1TB HDD, and AMD Radeon RX580, Asus claims that this Gaming machine is capable of running graphics-intensive Virtual Reality (VR) applications easily, runs on Windows 10. it has Four display modes – Normal mode, Eye care mode, Vivid mode and Manual mode, Measuring 415x280x340mm and weighs 3.2kg.

Connectivity OptionsAsus Strix has WIFI, Bluetooth, USB 3.1, USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and a Mini Display port as Connectivity options.
