Cheaper MacBook Air in the making, says KGI analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo

Cheaper MacBook Air

Well, it seems like Apple will finally be upgrading its MacBook Air according to a New Report from KGI Analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo, As it has been reported that Apple is Planning to launch a Cheaper MacBook Air in the Second Quater of 2018.

KGI Analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo told 9to5Mac that Apple is planning to launch a Cheaper MacBook Air in the Second Quater of 2018 and expect the Affordable version of MacBook Air will push the sales of MacBooks up to 10-15 percent this year.

Apple launched MacBook Air in 2008 which had an 11inch and 13-inch model of which Apple Now only sells the 13inch model with i5 Dual-core processor, 8GB LPDDR 3 and 128GB SSD at $999 which has not been updated since 2015, as Apple shifted its focus to 12-inch MacBook Pro models, although it did get an update last year with a slightly better processor and making 8GB RAM default.

The Cheaper MacBook Air is expected to launch with an upgraded processor, Graphics card, a Retina display and of course More Storage and since it has been reported to launch in the second quarter of 2018, well it could be unveiled at WWDC Conference.

The launch of Cheaper Macbook Air with upgraded Processor, A Retina display etc is what fans have been asking for years, although there are no leaks or other information apart from Min-Chi-Kuo report and going by KGI analyst past record this could well be happening which in turn would prove to be best for the fans.
