Samsung Galaxy S9

Not many days left before Samsung will officially unveil the First Flagship of 2018 and successor of Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus at Galaxy unpacked event on February 25.02.2018 like every year a day before the Mobile World Congress ( MWC ), Although we already know a lot about both the Flagships Thanks to Evan Blass and adding more to already known information, Today we got press renders of design and specifications of both the Flagships, Thanks to Ronald Quandt, which Now confirms all the previous leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus.

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus will commence from the launch day itself and delivery will begin from 8 March and will be available in these colours – Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Lilac Pink and Titanium Black and might also launch in India in the same month.

Now that out of the way, let’s talk about the S9, Design.

Starting off with the front here not much has changed from the last year S8, S8 Plus, the only noticeable change is slightly lesser bottom bezels as compared to last year’s Flagship as seen in the pictures, S9 display is curved from both sides, this has been here from the (S6 Edge) the screen dwells into bezels nicely.

The Volume rockers are present on the left with the Dedicated Bixby button (Samsung’s own Digital Assistant) and the power button is present on the right and finally  S9, S9 Plus has Dual Front Stereo Speakers powered by AKG which will certainly improve sound quality over the last year flagships, has a front-facing camera.

Coming to the Back Side – S9 has a single camera on the back with a LED flash and the fingerprint sensor is placed just below the camera, ( which is better than S8, S8+ and Note 8, where it was placed right next to camera ) certainly not the best place for a fingerprint sensor, whereas Galaxy S9 Plus has Dual rear camera on the back.

The Rear cameras on both the Flagship are expected to be an improvement over the S8, S8 plus and they now support variable Aperture i.e aperture which can automatically its F-number as per lighting ( f/1.5 to f/2.4 ). So if the person is shooting in low light the aperture will automatically shift to f/1.4 from f/2.4 and to f/1.5 from f/2.4 in daylight and also the rear camera can shoot 960fps super slo-mo videos, although the resolution is still not known.
