Just when the rumours of Nokia 9 were starting to build up and after launching the Nokia 8 two months ago HMD Global has launched Nokia 7 in China, which comes up to fill the gap between the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 smartphones.
The Nokia 7 shares the similar design from the front which we have seen in Nokia 6, however it is quite different from the back as it has single camera with single LED flash and a fingerprint sensor at the back unlike Nokia 8, Nokia 6
The Nokia 7 features 5.2 Full HD display 1080×1920 pixels resolution with a Gorilla Glass 3 coating, it is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU, Runs on Android 7.1.1. to which Nokia has assured that the Nokia 7 will get Android 8.0 Oreo update. Nokia 7 comes in 4GB/6GB RAM with inbuilt storage of 64GB which can further be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD Card.
The Nokia 7 costs CNY 2,499 and CNY 2,699 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM model. It is up for pre-orders from Tmall website and will be going on sales from October 24. it is available in Glassy Black and Matte White colour finishes. There’s no word from HMD Global on when Nokia 7 will hit the Indian shores.
For Photography – It has a 16MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens and f/1.8 aperture along with a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, Nokia 7 also has the two most highlight features of the Nokia 8, One being the Bothie effect – the dual split screen mode where you can capture photos and videos from the front and back camera at the same time and the other one being the OZO audio technology captures audio from all the microphones while recording a video to give a surround sound effect while playback.
For Connectivity options – The smartphone has all the standard options like – 4G VOLTE, NFC, GPS and supports dual SIM cards, backed up by a 3000mAh battery which is exactly same as the Nokia 6.
